The role

Due to an increase in workload an opportunity has become available for a contract administrator to join their existing team.
You will be involved in a broad mixture of projects from high-end residential project up to $5M in value through to refurbishment projects.
As contract administrator would be working across multiple projects. Projects include a $4.5M luxury residential build, $7M conversion of an existing office building into 3 separate offices/businesses
You will work closely with the head of their residential division who will mentor and develop you into a project manager in your own right.
Managing a site supervisor, and working closely with the project manager on each site and using a loyal and reliable sub-contractor base this is an opportunity to manage all client and sub-contractor activities and show what you are capable of.

Responsibilities

Delivery of contractual procurement
The preparation of trade packages,
Assist in calling for tenders,
Evaluation and letting of contracts,
Preparation of site documentation and reports. Your administration skills and attentio0n to detail need to be first class.
You will support site management and assist in procurement, administration and maintaining financial controls of the project,
Letting of contracts to subcontractors.
You will also attend and then progress to chair client meetings.

You will need to demonstrate;

Construction Degree OR Carpentry trade background on commercial or residential projects is preferred
Strong organisational skills are essential
Strong contract administration skills
Must be commercially aware and focused on making sure projects are profitable, delivered to time and budget.
Stakeholder management, with clients, consultants and contractors.
Support a safety-first culture over all projects
