This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding leading organisation specialising in defence related projects. They are currently in search of a Project Officer to fulfil a busy and critical permanent position.

Your new role
You will report directly to the Commanding Officer and be responsible for a range of support activities as required on the program. As the ideal candidate your strengths will include problem solving, the ability to think analytically, and have a background within a defence or aviation environment. You will coordinate with many departments which may include engineering and maintenance support, logistics, scheduling, and data management, to ensure delivery of tasks and milestones. The ability to liaise, coordinate and build strong relationships with stakeholders internally and externally is a fundamental requirement of this role.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience in the coordination, ongoing management and delivery of tasks in a Defence environment
Operational support in the areas or projects, schedules, risk and governance
Excellent communication and liaison skills
Currently hold or eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
