This will facilitate consistent delivery of global and regional projects that efficiently and effectively meet business expectations with regard to time, cost and quality in support and alignment with AGCO's strategic plans. Responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects and support tasks such as the development of project timelines and resource plans, monitoring and summarizing progress of the project, and ensuring buy-in from project stakeholders and process owners. They will also ensure the provision of appropriate support for the current production systems running across the ANZ network. What You Will Do: Serve as Team Lead, responsible for overall project definition, management and tracking, covering the entire lifecycle, from project definition and business requirements gathering, through implementation, including integration, training, data migration, go-live, support and closeout, including standard functionalities, custom developments and support models. Works with other managers to ensure proper staffing, utilization, and performance of the team is tracked throughout lifecycle of project including support.. Provides day-to-day initiative leadership, instrumentation, analytics and reporting consistent with the agreed upon project baseline and prepares communications for the initiative through systematic, structured communications. Establishes work plans in conjunction with Business and IT Delivery leadership, and establishes resource plans for each phase of a project. Confers with customer and project staff to ensure assignment of duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. Manages support areas ensuring sufficient incident support coverage Facilitates regularly scheduled work and task reviews and provides regular communication of work status. Ensure individual and team compliance with all AGCO policies and procedures including Sarbanes Oxley, IT and Security. Follow established governance processes and standards. Project management skills Team management skills Project management methodologies, project estimation, system development lifecycle processes and tools to define, set-up, plan and deliver business projects Structural and conceptual problem solving capabilities Financial analysis skills (due diligence, CER process, business case development, KPI definition) Support management Cross multiple business functional domains and solid skills to navigate organizational structure, politics and processes All systems being supported and their impact on the business both regionally and globally Linking project objectives, scope, etc. to enterprise strategy Driving alignment to the overall corporate architecture model: verify assumptions, bring in subject matter experts, etc. drive refinement to ensure the project results are flexible and more tightly linked to current and expected requirements Working with technology vendors and offshore development teams in the delivery of enterprise solutions Experience of working with the AS400 is a positive advantage People Management (Total Span of Control) Type of People Management - Direct - Direct line of reports into this position Number of Reports: 3-4 Effectively manage the work and development of your direct reports by conducting (at a minimum) an annual performance evaluation for each direct report by annual due date; ensure each report has performance goals identified and entered by annual due date; a successor for each direct report has been identified; all reports have an updated Employee profile; and a minimum of one professional development discussion is held annually with development goals documented accordingly. People Management Scope of Impact Regional - The position has direct reports in multi-function operations across an entire region or has operations in several countries or different continents. The impact of their decisions and/or end results effects the entire region. Project Management *Primary job focus and project must last more than one year. The role is concentrated around managing projects and the performance of the job holder is measured by the achievement of project milestones. Roles that provide organization-wide functional leadership not necessarily through direct reports, but trough dotted-line reports. Dotted-line reporting can be assessed through the factors such as frequency and nature of the communication, the coordination processes and area of influence. Project Management Scope of Impact Regional Process Management This is typically for individual contributors who provide technical leadership and apply business skills to establish and drive business processes. Responsible for specific, established ongoing process and may set the process direction and strategy. Participates in all aspects of planning and developing process improvements, governs the process and holds others accountable to follow the process. The results of the process will be determined by the performance of the job holder. Process Management Scope of Impact Global - The process is established as the standard process and followed by all regions. The process impacts the organization globally. Budget P&L Responsibility 501K to 2M Strategic Impact or Contribution The position's accountability for establishing the strategic vision for the organization, or a part of the organization, and to motivate and persuade others to follow the strategy. The success or lack of success of the strategy sits with the position. Strategic Impact or Contribution Level Area - Establishes and is fully accountable for the strategy at the area, department, site, or country level. Travel Required Yes - <25% of time What You Will Bring: Agile, Prince2, PMP or other formal project management qualification Degree useful but not mandatory - experience is key A Plus If You Have: Bachelor's Degree Specific Training or Certification Required - Formal PM Methodology preferable Complex/Advanced problem solving skills - Requires a wide range of activities that require complex judgement and solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives. In-depth analysis with interpretive thinking will be required to define problems and develop innovative solutions. Extensive research may be required.
