About the job:

Psychology specific assessments (Functional Capacity Assessments, Supported Independent Living and Specialised Disability Accommodation Assessments, use of a range of standardised tools e.g. ABAS-3)
Planning for NDIS participants to maximise their level of function, capacity and social engagement in line with their goals
Recommendations and provision of ongoing therapy support/treatment for NDIS participants
Assisting participant’s support team with training, education and strategies required to meet participant’s goals
Delivering services in the client’s home environment
Reporting outcomes and recommendations, written and verbal, in a timely manner and to a high standard
Liaising with participants, families, support coordinators, allied health professionals and other stakeholders to achieve coordinated outcomes.

About you:

AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
Passion for working with people with a disability with a range of functional impairments, high care needs or physical and mental co-morbidities
Experience with challenging behaviours, intellectual disability, autism
Minimum 3-4 years’ clinical experience relevant to the NDIS
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Excellent time management and communication skills
Willingness to go the extra mile
Rapport building skills
High level of resilience, enthusiasm and drive
Drivers licence and a reliable car.
