Indicative Total Remuneration $92,051 - $106,480 p.a. - AHP2 - Full-Time Ongoing/Permanent

You will be accountable to the Nurse Unit Manager of Woodleigh House, Northern Adelaide Local Health Network Mental Health Division for the provision of social work assessment and interventions for consumers of Woodleigh House inpatient facility. The social worker, in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team works to optimise health outcomes and to ensure safe and timely transfer of care. In this role you will apply clinical experience, knowledge and professional competence to plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive and integrated Social Work services to the needs of consumers of NALHN. You will work under limited clinical supervision and may provide direction and support to less experienced staff, allied health assistants and students. You will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team and liaise directly with health services and community agencies. You will be accountable to the Principal Social Worker through the Senior Social Worker, for your professional practice and development.

You must hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
