Strategic planning role in state gov, open to statutory planners wanting an opportunity in strategic planning

One of the leading planning state government organisations which focusses on environmental, land use and planning initiatives throughout Victoria is now seeking passionate planners who are wanting the opportunity to undertake strategic planning work. Your new planning job will be working in a Central Melbourne office for a highly sought after organisation with a great working reputation. Flexible working hours and working from home are options for this planning job.

Your new role
Your new job will be working in the Statutory Planning Team but your responsibilities will be varied and rewarding. You will gain exposure to strategic planning by assisting with major Victorian planning scheme amendments and you will deal with multiple stakeholders to manage the largest planning projects in Melbourne

What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate, you will be a qualified town planner with suitable rights to work in Australia. You will have extensive experience either with a Victorian Council, State Government organisation or a private sector planning firm and have an excellent understanding of project management.

What you'll get in return
This contract opportunity will pay up to $52.73 per hour plus super and is open to planner with a minimum of one year's experience in council. You will have an opportunity to work in strategic planning in state government and the contract will extend past August.
