Business Development Manager – Telstra Partner – Truetel Solutions

As a BDM you will be responsible for identifying and converting new opportunities with new and existing customers in the small to medium business space. You along with other sales team members will manage the entire sales solution to customer's total satisfaction, including the further development of the relationship, negotiating contracts, closing business cold calling and prospecting when necessary.

The successful candidate in this role must have a proven track record of hunting for new business as well as managing existing client relationships to achieve excellent customer advocacy and sales outcomes. Ideally you will be asales professional with a proven track record in both sales and customer relationships with at least 2 years sales experience in the business to business space, preferably within the Telecommunications/IT industry.

The Responsibilities

·Maintain strong business relationships with existing unassigned Telstra customers

·Win new business through cold calling, canvassing & networking

·Conduct client visits on leads or referrals identified by yourself, our Appointment Setters or the broader business

·Provide product & service-based solutions (PABX, Office 365 etc)

·Assess each individual customers' needs to identify whole-of-business solutions

·Sell Telephone Systems, Unified Communications Solutions and Voice Services "bundled" where possible

·Through rapport building and great questioning, discover the business opportunities for our customers to take advantage of the full suite of Telstra products and services that can enhance and grow their business profitably while producing sales opportunities.

·Offer Telstra's full range of services including Fixed Line, Mobile, ICT, Voice and Data as individual Services or as a Total Business Solution.

To be considered for this position you MUST have:

·Previous experience and success in a field-based Business Development position,

·Ability to build and maintain profitable business relationships with customers

·Professional written and verbal communication skills

·Ability to prioritise time and effort accordingly

·Approachable and friendly with a can do attitude

·Own reliable vehicle

·A proven track record of new business acquisition, ideally in Telecommunications/IT.

·A strong understanding of and experience with the Telstra landscape would be desirable, but not mandatory.

·A passion for sales and customer service.

·A strong work ethic and be a self-starter
