A market leader experiencing strong growth across the ANZ region seeks a high performing Customs Broker.

Your new company
Your new company are genuine leaders within its field having successfully operated for over a century. Due to strong growth across the ANZ region with the recent onboarding of large blue chip customers, they now seek a Customs Broker to join their high performing team on a rolling contract basis, with potential for a permanent opportunity down the line.

Your new role
Reporting to the Customs Supervisor, your duties will include:

Classify, compile, and lodge customs entries in accordance with all relevant legislation
Compile and store shipment documentation (certificates, permits, licenses, etc)
Calculate duty tariff payments owed on shipments
Arrange payment of, taxes and duties on shipments
Apply for tariff concessions, duty drawbacks, refunds, and tariff advices
Facilitate communication between government authorities and clients
Arrange for transportation, warehousing, or product distribution of shipments
Adhere to all conditions set out on ACBPS license
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will be a licensed customs broker that has successfully worked as a compiler, registrations clerk, and/or customs broker. You will be a competent user of Expedient and will have experience working in the automotive industry. You'll also be a team player that enjoys working in a collaborative, small team, along with being able to confidently communicate with all stakeholders, both internally and externally.
