About the Role

Healthcare Australia is pleased to be assisting one of NSW leading private hospitals situated in the Newcastle region. This is a 159 bed medical, surgical, ICU, mental health, rehabilitation and oncology hospital. As the Rehab Registered Nurse, you will provide direction, support and guidance to the care team to ensure they are effectively engaged in the delivery of appropriate care to the patients. We are looking for someone who can start immediately and has the experience to lead, manage and contribute to ensuring the patients have the relevant health.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Providing for patients in need
• Demonstrate and lead others ENs and AIN into the delivery of great nursing care
• Providing Rehab nursing services
• Mentor and lead Enrolled Nurses and Assistant In Nursing
• Ensuring the patients are happy with the service and communication




As the successful Rehab Registered Nurse, you will have:

• Registered Nurse experience in rehabilitation
• Ability to practice the Registered Nurse Standards of Practice
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Highly skilled in administration, clinical leadership and negotiation and conflict resolution
• Current AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation)
• 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse
• Ability to work on a rotating roster
