Registered Nurse Community second/third year Graduate

Applications are invited from suitably qualified 2nd/3rd Year Registered Nurses who have successfully completed 12 months in a medical/surgical acute care setting. The Community Nursing Graduate Programme is a temporary full-time contract for a period of 12 months.

The successful applicant will be well supported with education and mentorship during the 12 month programme.

You will be responsible for the delivery of service to a wide spectrum of clients providing holistic assessments and care within a community setting.

The position will provide challenges that are unique to nursing in the community and will provide you with a diverse range of opportunities to develop your clinical, social and communication skills.

The positions are located in the metropolitan and coastal areas of Lake Macquarie and Newcastle Local Geographic Areas. A wide variety of activities are offered and are best known for the beautiful coast line, wineries, fishing and sailing activities on the ocean and lake.

The positions are 5 day roster (Monday-Friday).
