We are recruiting an enthusiastic and energetic supervisor to join the metro Sydney Supply Chain team as a Concrete Production Supervisor based out of our Greenacre Concrete Plant.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for successfully optimizing performance through sound supervision of the concrete plant and the team within it. You will be joining a strong team culture where personal and professional growth is valued. This is a multi-faceted role, responsible for overseeing and contributing to customer service, operational excellence and various administrative activities.

In your role, you will:

Manage night shift activities and actively supervise the internal team, contractors, & suppliers
Engage and maintain effective relationships with current and potential customers to meet business and sales targets
Manage and contribute to the quality control of production, plant maintenance, as well as administrative duties
Maintain and drive sound working knowledge of health and safety principles, legislation, standards and codes of practice.
Coordination of general yard, plant housekeeping and maintenance
Monitoring of P&L costs and provide optimization suggestions to plant manager
Communication with plant manager of daily shift happenings
Review of upcoming concrete orders and deliveries
Accurate batching of orders to specified mix designs utilising the Commandbatch program and the docket dispatch system
Operation of FEL, Forklift, Skid Steer & Agitator Trucks
