About the Company

Patties Foods is a nationally recognized large food manufacturer, supplier and marketer of fresh and frozen products, located in Bairnsdale. Patties produce both sweet and savoury food products sold throughout grocery and convenience stores as well as to foodservice distributors who supply cafes, stadiums, caterers, schools, restaurants, hotels, clubs and even overseas markets.

About the Role

Casual General Hands are required for afternoon and night shifts during peak periods throughout the year to perform repetitive manual handling tasks. Successful candidates will be responsible for working in the packing or production areas and may be responsible for working across all areas of the production process.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful applicants for the General Hand positions will possess:

Experience in food preparation (including Cooks & Chefs)
Production Line / Machine Operation experience preferred
Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
Good numeracy & problem-solving skills
Mechanical aptitude an advantage
Quality Control awareness
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
You may be required to work any day from Monday to Sunday, flexibility is essential
Due to the repetitive nature and manual handling tasks involved, the successful applicant must be physically fit and work ready
