Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator - Aged Care - East Melbourne
We are seeking a qualified Lifestyle Coordinator with aged care experience to fill this permanent full-time opportunity within a respected nursing home in East Melbourne.

The Position

This is a full time, permanent Lifestyle Coordinator opportunity. In this busy and rewarding role, you will deliver comprehensive individual lifestyle programs and facilitate the participation of residents in a variety of experiences which improves their quality of life. You will work alongside the nursing team to examine resident assessments & care plans & develop lifestyle programs to improve the quality of their days.

The Professional

We are looking for a resident-focused people person, someone who can hit the ground running and think independently. You must have experience in either a Lifestyle Coordinator role within an aged care facility.

We're looking for dynamic and innovative individuals who can empower our clients and support them in achieving their therapeutic goals.

The Requirements:

Have a minimum of a Diploma qualification in Leisure and Health or Certificate IV Lifestyle & Leisure
A passion for Aged Care
Be flexible when required
The capacity to work well autonomously and be a team player
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
An approachable & caring demeanour
Experience coordinating & evaluating group & individual programs
An innovative approach to Lifestyle.
Experience with resident care planning & assessments
Current First Aid Certificate
Current Police Check
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
