Disclaimer – this example is just to explain that commissions don’t expire or diminish in any way, so don’t expect to sign 23 clients and retire in Bali on a 200k per annum income.
In actual fact - client retention is 90%; 10 % drop off each year, however this figure does not usually apply to your core and fair dinkum clients as our clients are heavily reliant upon our business. Within a few months at the job, you will be able to tell in advance who is not worth chasing and you won’t waste your time, by the second year you will most likely grow so much in confidence, partly due to your income, that you will have no qualms in telling any hard to deal with clients that you no longer want their business.

What is so significant about the magic number of 23?
Answer – Nothing special really, it’s just when you work the numbers backwards, 23 clients equals $200,000 in yearly remuneration (Salary & ongoing Commission paid monthly).
YES; You can sign over more than 23, please do; be as motivated and work as hard as you like; go nuts.
NO; there is no minimum threshold before you earn comms.
NO; there is NO maximum threshold on how many clients you can bring on board.
NO; there are NO cap on commissions.
NO; there are NO reductions in commission; NO reductions in coms once you reach any particular number of clients or dollar value or magic formulas that diminish your earnings or earning capacity in any way.

If you do the math the earning potential is going to sound hard to believe. But it is as straight forward as 1 + 1 = 2.

Why would we pay out this much?????
THREE reasons:
ONE - If you are closing 1 or 2 a month and were making this sort of money; Would you hand in your resignation and go work for Pepsi or stay and keep building the business?

TWO - Because the company is not run by some pencil-neck financial controller, who is of the belief that a CLOSER, is no more valuable to the company than his or her own ability to COUNT the millions in revenue that the CLOSER produces.
The company is actually run day to day by the founder of the business, who has spent the last 4 year’s building the business with his own fine-tuned cold calling; presenting and closing skills; he learned those skills during his long career as a BDM; and he is happy to share the spoils with the guys who make it happen and he wants to keep the team around as long as possible to maintain clients and keep growing the business further; there are lots of opportunities and we haven't even touched New Zealand the UK or the States as yet.

THREE - And this should make perfect sense to you – The founder realised very early on that even if your pay a remuneration of $200,000 P/A, this in turn generates the company 1.6 million year on year – If those 23 never churn, the company earns 1.6 million a year in addition to everyone else’s clients. And if you stick around and double your client list from 23 to 46, although your remuneration becomes 400k(pro rata; Yes your remuneration increases for each additional client, you don’t have to wait until you reach 46) you have earned the company 3.2 million in ongoings each year. again its uncapped.

Quick visual –
$3,200,000 (gross revenue) SUBTRACT your $400,000 (your remuneration) =$2,800,000 Net(minus other business costs of course but you get the picture). Obviously, you can’t go on effectively building the business once your portfolio exceeds a number that you can no longer manage, so at that point, whenever that stress point is reached for you(your call) you will need to make a call on either taking a hit in your comms to bring in an assistant or become a full-time client manger yourself. Your call.

The Position Description and Candidate Requirements – This Includes all the buzz words such as; You must be Professional, Well-spoken and well-groomed Etc/Etc, Blah; Blah; Blah; I can feel you yawning and rolling your eyes right about now; so let me stop it there, besides you have been forced to read over the exact same stock standard position description and candidate requirements extracted from the book "How to draft a job ad for idiots"a million times over the years and you probably know what it’s going to say prior to reading the ad, as a matter of fact, I bet you could do a better job drafting the ad yourself.

Let’s get down to brass tacks - Here is the real key to this position and you can’t hide from this: It involves cold calling plus calling from a large list of business names; numbers; owners & decision makers. You can expect to have a lot of very short conversations and you can expect to get held up with the receptionist quite a lot. And that’s okay; you are only looking for 10 real potential conversations a week; your pipeline is key and it is worth gold; What they can’t see today; they will see next month; what you can’t get them to see today; you will get them to see in two months; what they dont want today, they will need in six months; we don’t sell widgets and the upside for them is enormous; your income is very lucrative; what you are aiming for is 10 x 30 minute discussions with decision makers each week. one or two of those will be a sale sometime over the next 6 months.
You have to be an extremely tenacious hunter; presenter and closer, this is not the sort of job where you will make one sale every day, you will win one a month at first and 2-4 a month after the first three months, it doesn’t sound like many, I know, but you don’t have to make that many sales to earn an exceptional income, there are huge ongoing returns from each of your clients and you rarely lose a client once they are in, as we are the lifeblood of their business; we will assist them in transforming their company from virtually a sole trader to a multimillion dollar business and our results are obvious and therefore easy to measure.

This is a sales position that revolves around showing a businessperson the big picture'.

Salary - 65k plus super this will never be taken away from you plus a signup bonuses/commission on every sale made and an important trailing commission on all your clients; as detailed above, 23 clients equates to $200,000 per annum in salary and recuring commission.
