The Position

St John of God Pinelodge Clinic is a 54-bed private hospital offering specialised psychiatric, and drug and alcohol treatment and care located in Dandenong in South East Melbourne. Encompassing in-patient services, day-patient therapy programs and a community outreach service, St John of God Pinelodge Clinic prides itself on providing dynamic and recovery based care for all our patients throughout all stages of recovery.

We are seeking applications from Mental Health Clinicians (Psychologist, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist) to join the energetic and client focused team to be responsible for providing evidence based group and individual therapy which supports clients in their recovery journey within inpatient and day patient settings.

We have positions available on a Part time or Casual basis, with hours and employment status to be negotiated with the successful applicants. This role will require weekend and after hours work, so ability to be flexible with rostering arrangements is essential for further consideration.

The successful candidate will have:

A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
Tertiary qualification and current registration and/or membership with relevant professional body (e.g. AHPRA, AASW etc.)
Experience in the successful delivery of group-based therapy with complex clients using a range of therapeutic modalities.
Experience working within a multidisciplinary team, particularly in an acute hospital setting.
Demonstrated organisational and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Demonstrated orientation towards reflective practice and ability to function within appropriate boundaries.
