Our client is a leading Allied Health Company in Australia, offering a number of locations across NSW and Tasmania. They pride themselves on providing superior services and treatments to their clients, through their highly skilled, professional, multi-disciplinary teams. They are currently experiencing a period of significant growth and as a result, are looking to recruit for a number of roles, with an urgent requirement.

Description

The key accountabilities for the Speech Pathologist will include, but may not be limited to;

Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders

Design, trial and implementation of low tech and high tech communication devices

Develop, implement, monitor and review treatment plans

Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties

Coordinating with other allied health professionals and GP's

Provide education to clients, families, the community and other practitioners/ staff

Involvement in health promotions, quality improvement activities

Profile

The successful candidate must possess the following to be considered for the position;

A genuine passion for providing a quality service to clients;
A completed degree in Speech Pathology and registration with SPA;
Patience, empathy and impeccable written and spoken communication skills;
Initiative and good problem solving skills;
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team;
Excellent organisational and time management skills;
An up to date Working With Children Check and National Police Check;
Current and clean driving license and your own vehicle;
Exp working with NDIS or disability is highly desirable.

Job Offer

A generous base salary, ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 plus super (dependant on experience);
