The Role:

Wymac is seeking an energetic individual with solid experience with a desire to be a key part of this innovative company.

Reporting to the Game Software Manager this role is responsible for the development and testing of slot machine game software projects for the suite of gaming products produced and supported by the Game Studio.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop and test C# code modules to produce games to run on custom gaming platform.
Conduct and participate in software reviews with peers and software manager.
Ensure adherence to coding standards and design patterns.
Analyse requirements and regulations to ensure software complies with the various gaming standards.
Support and maintenance of released software.
Develop and integrate gaming hardware peripherals such as printers, note acceptors, coin mechs, etc.
Actively engage in personal and technical development to ensure you are across latest practices and procedures within the software development field.
Clearly communicate and contribute within team meetings and design forums.
Monitor and adhere to team-based timelines and deliverables.
Attend gaming shows to understand market trends and industry best practices.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Strong C# programming experience with minimum 2 years in gaming industry experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to present to a wide range of audiences.
Proactive, solution-based problem-solving skills.
Real Time or embedded software development experience.
Industry Experience using ReSharper and Continuous Integration (CI). Github and JIRA
Experience in agile methodologies.
Ability to deliver/complete tasks required of the position within agreed timelines.
Demonstrated commercial acumen with strong planning and project management ability.
Positive contributor within a highly collaborative environment.
Well presented with a confident, positive and approachable demeanour.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team and meet company objectives.
