Principal Geotechnical Engineer needed for a national business to assist with the transition into infrastructure projects

The Client

Our client is a well known and established consultancy who cover engineering consulting across a range of sectors including Land development and municipal roads.

This consultancy has a requirement for a Senior/Principal Geotechnical Engineer due to sustained growth within their team.

The role is to sit under the Geotechnical Manager and work across a range of projects focusing on project management, someone with the core Project Manager abilities that cover OH&S, Finance control, budgeting, managing contractors, ability to problem solve, be diligent and be keen to learn and progress.

Although no specific industry experience is essential, the ideal candidate would already be working a similar role in the Environmental, Civil or Geotechnical space.

Key skills needed to apply for this Project Manager role:

8+ years' experience within the Geotechnical Industry
Relevant qualification Geotechnical degree/qualification
Team focussed mentality
Significant exposure to site investigations, stability analyses of both natural and man-made slopes, foundation design, earthworks, pavement and landslide risk assessments.
Experience of implementing programs to meet project deadlines within budget.
