Oz Synergy Solutions is a specialised telecommunication rigging services company that provides full end to end services in Telecommunications infrastructure, from Structure and AC design to procurement, construction, installation, testing, commissioning and handover for all site types.

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Network Engineer to join our friendly team. An engineer who will competently and skilfully design and install the digital communication systems of client companies. The candidate must be able design, install, and oversee the voice, data, and video communication systems, as well as decide on the appropriate hardware and software for telecommunications network.

Key responsibilities include:

Evaluate and prepare client requirements, specifications, and plans for telecommunication projects.
Plan and design best practice telecommunications networks and systems.
Identify and specify the type and configuration of hardware and other equipment to be used in each telecommunication installation plan.
Compile project documentation to provide accurate costing for each project.
Produce necessary documentation to deliver integrity of company projects, including filing all paperwork as outlined in client specification requirements and/or as needed in view of network design and installation.

Ensures compliance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures in the provision of systems

Designs are undertaken using PIM testing, RFC, Sweep, and Fiber testing.
Designs, builds, configures, and commissions devices, networks and telecommunication sites
Configuring networks elements like routers, switches, Rado resource units, combiners, TMA, and transmission controllers.
Installations and maintenance of Radio Network systems
Coordinate with multiple vendors for various hardware requirements.
Perform integration tasks and network upgrades and ensure that network is functional.
Commissioning of telecommunication networks and infrastructure.
Review performance levels of telecommunication networks and equipment and recommend improvements and enhancements for telecommunications network arrangements.
Evaluate existing issues with the telecommunication networks, systems, and equipment and recommend updates and upgrades to ensure desired performance.
Provide technical expertise in installation and configuration of network equipment as required.
Ensure adherence to client (and/or Optus/Telstra/Vodafone) service standards as well as legislative (including OH&S) and other relevant regulatory requirements.
Provide maintenance and service for Telecom network.
Provide thoughtful solutions and network upgrades for the customers' networks based on hardware and software used.
Interact with the client when necessary, to troubleshoot issues.
Maintain industry knowledge and technical expertise.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering or a related domain.
Minimum 5-10 years of prior experience gained within a similar role is necessary.
Working Knowledge of 3G, LTE, and 5G technologies is essential.
Understand all the equipment’s installed on the site
Have experience with Nokia/Huawei/Ericsson equipment’s.
Ability to work full-time and full working rights.
