The Fitzroy Beer Garden are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our fun and hardworking team!
This position is full time with shifts varying from Monday to Sunday, breakfast, lunch & dinner service.

The Role

Ensure smooth running of restuarant inclusive of taking table bookings, greet and seat guests, showing the menu and taking food and drink orders
Communicate effectively with customers to 'up sell' and ensure they are happy with service and meals provided.
Lead and supervise a team of waiting and kitchen staff ensuring smooth running of shifts, rostering and training requirements for staff
Work in conjunction with Chef and kitchen team to design and plan menus inclusive of functions
Stock control. This includes planning and ordering to budget, maintaining accurate records of stock levels and transactions, pricing of meals and drinks.
Ensure staff and venue comply with OHW&S hospitality requirements
Ensure venue is clean, presentable and organised to suitable standard e.g for functions, general dining
Have the ability to deal with customer complaints should they arise and manage them accordingly.
