NSWEducation Standards Authority (‘NESA’) was formally established on 1 January2017 to improve quality teaching and student learning across all schools andschool sectors. It is responsible for the curriculum, assessment, teacheraccreditation and regulatory standards in NSW schools, and accreditation ofearly childhood teachers.

We are looking for 3 x SupportOfficer Compliance to provide administrative and support services to facilitatethe operation of the Teacher Quality and Integrity Unit.

To besuccessful in this role you will need to demonstrate your immediate proficiencyin the focus capabilities as highlighted in the Role Description. Answerthe two pre-screening questions below - we are looking for you to demonstrateyour competency in this focus capability. Answer with concrete examples and inno more than 300 words per question. Briefly describe the context of thesituation(s), the actions that you took, the outcome of your efforts and whatyou learned from the experience.

Describe a situation where you resolved a complex issue for a customer. Explain how you resolved the issue and the outcome of your action.

Provide an example of a situation where you proactively responded to changing circumstances and adjusted plans and schedules. Describe the context and explain what you did and the outcome of your actions.

Under newemployment legislation all current and new Public Service non-executiveemployees are employed at a classification level and assigned to a role ratherthan appointed to a position.
