Your Role

We are looking for an experienced Telecommunication Network Engineer to join our NSW team. In this role, you will be responsible for controlling the quality and efficiency of work at project sites including design, service and support of telecommunications equipment and systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

Designs, builds, configures and commissions devices, networks
and systems and ensures systems interconnect with equipment
from different manufacturers, service providers and users.
Compiles engineering project proposals to define goals,
identifies scope, background and need, and ascertains cost of
the project.
Evaluates and procures new products and services.
Ensures compliance with laws, regulations, policies and
procedures in the provision of systems.
Prepares and interprets specifications, drawings and regulations
for the use of equipment.
Determines the type and arrangement of circuits, transformers,
circuit-breakers, transmission lines and equipment.
Monitors systems.
Assuming responsibilities for the quality and efficiency of work at
job sites
Liaise and co-ordinate all site activities with relevant parties to
ensure timely and efficient site completion.
Establish and maintain short/long range schedules and forecasts
including all resources, material and personnel.
Complete project on or ahead of expectations and commitments.
Provide planning and programming of labor, plant and
equipment.
Supervise and schedule the day to day activities of direct
employees and ensure appropriate organization of plant,
materials, including purchasing of materials, and
hiring necessary equipment, plant or subcontract services.
Manage key sub-contracting partners to improve delivery and
business flexibility.
Recommend subcontractors for approval as required.
Identify and record problems and verify corrective actions.
Observance of Company and Client Industrial Relations policies.
Attention to detail, and accuracy in all completed project
documentation by ensuring all job tracking and PM tools are
updated.
Complete site audits

Successful candidates will need:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the Telecommunications Industry.
RF Awareness
ASP Mentor and Certifier Quality Auditor Certification
First Aid
Strong technical knowledge in Telstra/Ericsson Mobiles RF installations
Effective team player, with proven ability to manage people
Competent time management
Good decision making and problem-solving skills
Good interpersonal skills
Computer proficient
Acquisition, Design and Construction experience
Proficient in reading technical diagrams
Facilitate B.O.M
Co-ordinate various stake holders
