Aboriginal Health WorkerBuilding Strong Foundations
The Tamworth Community Health Building Strong Foundations team provides services to Aboriginal families with children aged 0-5 years within the Tamworth area. The applicant will be working in partnership with the Child and Family Health Nurse and other health and non health agencies supporting a range of care needs such as feeding, nutrition, growth and development, behaviour, immunisation and parenting advice, to achieve better health outcomes and better access to health services for Aboriginal people.
The applicant should be self-motivated, able to work in a team and have a strong capacity to connect with people on an individual basis to support family centred care.
