Our Opportunity

Reporting to the HSE Manager, this role will be vital to our organisation's success in keeping up multiple level site safety plans to ensure they are covered. In addition they will also:

Conduct vessel and workplace inspections
Consistently be able to think outside of the box in order to solve complex problems
Assist in day to day implementation of manager's HSE responsibilities and provide reports as assigned
Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, and company safety and environmental requirements
Be the role model to all Thales Employees in demonstrating full support of the occupational health, safety, and environmental programs

About You

Organisation is your middle name, having a high attention to detail would be an understatement
Energetic and enjoy doing meaningful work that makes an impact
Good inter-personal skills and ability to influence and negotiate with team members, management, peers in other teams and contractors and suppliers
Knowledge of dockyard and ship work will be highly regarded however is not essential
Understanding of Injury Management, Workers Comp, and Health Promotion is also desirable
