This long day care centre attached to an independent school is currently in need of a Diploma educator for their highly rated service in Lane Cove. The centre caters for children between 0-6 years old and boasts 5 large rooms, with a fantastic outdoor space.

The centre is warm, welcoming and community focused, where the aim is to foster self-esteem, curiosity and the motivation to become a lifelong learner. The centre is purpose built and runs an Indoor/Outdoor programme based on the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which recognises uniqueness of the individual and the value of diversity. The centre has state of the art outdoor facilities and received an Exceeding Rating in all 7 quality areas.

Your new role
As a Diploma educator in the 2-3 age group you will be working with a strong team of educators, who share all responsibilities across the room. You will have input with the programming and planning of the room, so part of your role will be bring new ideas and communicating feedback on activities. This is a very collaborative team so you will be expected to discuss the developmental cycle with families, as well as relate activities back the EYLF outcomes within your observations.

What you'll need to succeed

Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services
Previous experience within an assistant role
Knowledge of the EYLF and programming and planning
Use of car necessary
