Occupational Therapist (OT) Newcastle

Growing Allied Health provider seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join their Multidisciplinary Allied Health team working alongside Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists & Speech Pathologists.

About the Role:

Functional Assessment of the client’s psychological, social, medical and personal needs in order to develop a personal rehabilitation program to accommodate the client’s lifestyle
Developing and implementing rehabilitation programs
Completing initial home visits and functional assessments to help identify the needs, desires and goals of the client and planning how to achieve these goals
Recommending specific assistive technologies or home, school, office / workplace modifications.
Patient education regarding daily activities
Working and communicating with an Allied Health team to achieve the best outcomes for the client in regards to care and reaching their goals

What we need from you:

AHPRA registration
Occupational Therapy Degree Qualified
Full Drivers Licence and reliable car
National Police Check
Working with Children’s Check
Ability to work in a team environment and continually willing to learn
