Your opportunity

W3 Associates has partnered with a rapidly expanding water engineering contracting business who are looking to appoint several new project engineers to their team in NSW.

The company delivers critical water & wastewater treatment infrastructure to regional towns across NSW and QLD, specialising in the delivery of wastewater treatment plants, pump-stations, pipelines and associated water engineering solutions. Clients include water utilities, water authorities, regional councils and tier 1 contractors.

With current projects and a strong pipeline of work north of Sydney, the company are looking to appoint a Project Engineer in the Newcastle or Central Coast region. This is a newly created permanent position reporting to the Senior Project Manager in Newcastle.

What will you do?

As a Project Engineer you will have an active role in the complete life cycle of projects from tendering through to delivery whilst continuously developing client relationships.

You will be heavily projects focussing on water & wastewater treatment plants, pump-stations and pipelines including both greenfield and brownfield projects.

You will work with a project team comprised of a project manager, project engineer and supervisor to run the projects alongside a passionate and driven crew and offsite support from company management.

What can you bring to the team?
Firstly, you will have a keen interest in helping regional communities improve the overall quality of their water infrastructure assets. You will also be a degree qualified engineer (civil or mechanical) and ideally have experience working as a site engineer, project engineer or project manager on water infrastructure projects.

You will have a positive attitude, an ability to multi-task and prioritise work, strong client management skills and an interest in contributing to the company’s culture.
