Building our Talent
Multiplex is currently delivering several iconic projects in Queensland. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Planner to be based in our Brisbane Head Office working across New Business & Live Projects. We are seeking applications from experienced Construction Planners / Project Planners who have solid & proven experience working on large scale commercial construction projects.
In this role you will be responsible for the development of tender programmes for our New Business team, the implementation and status reporting of programmes on live projects, communicating Programme performance to senior management. Coupled with the implementation of planning standards and training.

Key Accountabilities:

* Prepare accurate planning and programmes for large scale construction projects
* Live project monthly statusing
* Analyse project information regarding delivery
* Analyse documentation in order to develop an optimal, and if required alternative construction program
* Challenge program proposals to maximise efficiency
* Strategically advising outcomes and direction
* Keep abreast of market influences and trends

Key Skillset Required:

* Solid and proven general construction experience including at least 2 years' experience in construction planning and programming
* Knowledge of commercial construction techniques and sequences
* Background in the design, construction and delivery process
* Highly proficient in the use of MPX's standard project management software : Primavera P6 OR Asta Powerproject
* Competent user of industry standard software including Microsoft Office
* Excellent understanding of network analysis and critical path methods
