About the opportunities:

Depending on your trade and area of expertise tasks and duties may consist of the following:

Component overhaul, maintenance and repair
Fault finding, rebuild and testing components
Repair and maintenance fabrication
Strip and cleaning of components
Operation of forklift and overhead gantry as required

About you:

Trade Qualified Certification as a

Fitter and Turner
Mechanical
Boilermaker/Welder/Fabricator
Electrician (Industrial)

Further requirements:

Previous proven experience in working with heavy machinery in a maintenance environment
Flexibility to work AM and PM shifts and overtime as required
Knowledge of diesel/electric locomotive engines is highly desirable
Ability to understand and apply mechanical/electrical drawings
Great problem solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team to achieve team/site outcomes.
Excellent communication skills
Forklift license and over head gantry highly regarded
