* Salary $108.5K pro rata (Band MCHN Y 4 + 5%) + 9.5% Super

This role is responsible for the Enhanced Maternal and Child Health Team Leader will support and contribute to the facilitation of the day to day operational management of the EMCH Team as well as be responsible for a small clinical load.

To be successful in this role you must have:

* Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board as a Registered Nurse, Midwife, and at least a Graduate Diploma in Child and Family Health Nursing.

Experience in leading an Enhanced MCH team or willing to advance career into leadership role.

Extensive knowledge, experience and willing to support staff in current family support practice

Experience in Enhanced Maternal and Child Health Service provision

Ability to lead and support staff and work with complex and highly vulnerable clients, including those experiencing mental health issues, family violence, clients within the Child Protection area

Ability to network extensively with other service providers

Ability to provide support and guidance to Maternal and Child Health Nurses within Mitchell Shire

The successful applicant will be required to obtain an employee Working with Children Check prior to commencement. (This is now mandatory for ALL employees joining Council to meet Child Safe Standards of our Organisation)
