A rare opportunity has presented for an experienced Agricultural Parts Interpreter/Mechanic who is genuinely passionate about the Industry and is excited by the opportunity to innovate and grow within the Agricultural space.

Who You Are:

You will describe yourself as an experienced Parts Interrupter or Agricultural Mechanic who has handled a variety of different machines – green, yellow, red and blue. You pride yourself on your great attitude and high work ethic and thrive in a role that embraces and encourages your initiative and ability to get the job done. You prefer a hands-on role and can relate to farmers and their unique problems.

Most importantly, you will have a positive attitude, a willingness to assist others and your passion for the agriculture industry will see you share a similar vision with the team at Harvestaire.

The Role:

Your main objective will be to ascertain and understand a farmer’s requirements and liaise with dealers and mechanics across Australia to source a solution quickly and effectively so farmers can get the most from their harvest.

Working Monday to Friday, between 7am - 5.30pm with staggered start and finish times, your main duties will include;

Speaking with farmers, dealers, and mechanics to accurately identify parts required
Provide solutions to harvester and tractor problems
Engage with our domestic and overseas suppliers to locate parts
Liaise with Production and Despatch teams to ensure parts get to farmers as quickly and accurately as possible
Identifying new agricultural products that support farmers getting more from their harvest &
Assist with planning and organising of sales events, field days and marketing opportunities.

To be considered for this great role you will have:

Previous experience with Broad-acre Farming is essential
Experience in a Parts Interpreter role or Agricultural Mechanic position
Experience working on or around farms with harvesters and tractors
A strong understanding of farmers and their unique problems
The ability to interpret equipment drawings will be advantageous
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to a wide variety of people
Comfortable with technology coupled with competent computer skills &
Be able to manage and prioritize workflow during the busy harvest period.
