Applications are invited for a Utilities Engineer to join Councils Utilities Team.

The Utilities Engineer will provide technical advice and support in the activities of the Utilities Team, including; Capital Works, Maintenance Works, Strategic Planning, Contractor Management, Project Management, Government Department Liaison and Reporting.

The successful applicant will hold a Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or equivalent and have proven experience in the water and sewer industry. Applicants will also need to meet the essentials of the position.

The appointment will be in accordance with the Local Government State Award and Councils policies and conditions of employment. The salary will be within the range of $1,514.80 to $1,756.70 per week, plus civil liability allowance and 9.5% Superannuation. Remuneration will depend on qualifications, experience, skills and the award descriptors. This range is a Grade 24 to 26 in Federation Councils Salary System.
