Purpose of the Role

The Clinical Nurse Consultant - Mental Health Emergency Department is a Registered Nurse who will provide a specialist and advanced standard of clinical mental health nursing practice on the care and management of consumers with mental health related issues within the Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM) and provide a link between mental health services and mainstream medical services.
