The Company

Our client is one of Australia's leading suppliers of FMCG products with their head office located in Melbourne, and a second warehouse in Smithfield, Sydney. With manufacturing on-site, they are able to supply high quality products to an ever-growing customer base all around Australia.

The Position

Reporting to the Site Manager your duties will include:

Work closely with the team to ensure excellent customer service and conversion of customers
Assist the team with calls and process orders and returns as required
Market and promote products and services
Provide weekly and monthly reporting on team and individual performance and customer insights and pain points.
Provide technical product information to clients and handle escalations
Work with the broader team to ensure consistency across delivery and streamlining of information.
Maintain and process all necessary team administrative duties in a timely manner

The Candidate

The successful applicant will have proven experience ideally from the manufacturing industry, and will display the following:

Proven experience leading and mentoring inbound and outbound sales and customer service teams
Demonstrated sales and customer service skills including conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to identify relevant and critical training needs
Sound knowledge of Microsoft products and CRM
Proven experience providing advice on technical products is ESSENTIAL

This is a permanent fulltime opportunity located in Smithfield, NSW. Hours are 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.
