WHAT YOU WILL LEAD, GROW & BE A PART OF

This Medical Education Professional Manager position is responsible to promote product development, instructional and medical aspirations to contribute to orthopaedics and remain recognised and respected among peers. This position will oversee all medical education and medical services staff, strategy and implementation. This will include all medical education training requirements of ANZ sales representatives to make sure they are operating at a high standard in relation to anatomy, surgical techniques and products.
You will be responsible for all medical education activities, training, curriculum, and clinical research by developing educational and promotional materials, supporting the product development process, and developing surgeon consultants and customer excellence in the application of orthopaedic/arthroscopic surgical solutions in ANZ.
You will establish the medical education strategy and objectives through an annual need’s assessment aligned with Med Ed APAC strategy.
You will manage the planning and implementation of cadaver surgery workshops in ANZ, including quality and service and provide assistance and support to surgeons.
You will provide advice on medical education aspects that impact the regional strategic direction, product development and business strategy.

WHAT QUALS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB?

Bachelor's Degree or higher in one of the biomedical sciences or allied health (physio) or nursing and teaching preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of knowledge and experience in orthopaedic surgery and instruction (arthroscopy preferred). Orthopaedic nurses encouraged to apply.
Proven experience in developing hands on instructional training curriculum.
Must have an in-depth knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, etc.
Knowledge of orthopaedic products.
Must be willing to travel up to 20-30% of the time, primarily domestically, (once COVID allows).
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
