Charlestown Caring Group urgently requires Experienced Disability Support Staff for our NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) program.

The applicant MUST have relevant qualifications or currently obtaining these qualifications as well as hands on experience. You must be available to start within the next two weeks.

We currently have three different types of positions available.

Position 1:
This is a targeted position to meet the needs of high care dementia clients who require a female support staff member. They must be experienced in caring for dementia clients, challenging behavior and personal care.

The individual must be available at least every second weekend and for the occasional overnight sleepover shift.

Position 2:

This is another targeted position for male clients requesting male support staff. They must have qualifications as well as hands on experience.

The individual must be available weekdays, at least every second weekend if required as well as for the occasional overnight sleep over shift.

Position 3:

This position is for individuals that are qualified or currently obtaining a qualification. The individual will need to be willing to do a range of supports including meal preparation, social support, personal care and domestic assistance.

Desirable:

Current First Aid Certificate
National Police Check or willing to obtain (we can do this for you)
