Shift Leader Position

Shift Leaders are responsible for effective management of all aspects of their shift, to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest of GYG.

Skills, knowledge and tasks to successfully carry out the Shift Leader position at GYG include (but are not limited to)-

Extensive menu and product knowledge - comprehensive training is provided!
Food safety & WHS - maintaining safe food, employees and guests at all times
Delegation, culture & inclusion - Assisting the management team to maintain happy, engaged team members who love coming to work
Driven - continually set and seek to achieve their, and their team's goals and targets
Effective communication - Ability to express themselves in a confident and respectful manner to all team members & guests
Shift execution - Forward planning and decisive actions to serve our guests effectively

Shift Leaders at GYG are required to be able to work a variety of shifts, including some early mornings, nights, and weekends.
