Our Queensland State Government client is seeking a Supervisor to join their team during a period of increased workflow. The initial contract will commence in late January until June 30th.

Key duties:

Inspecting electrical installations to validate compliance with AS/NZS Standards
Contract Documentation, Specifications, and standard of workmanship
Carrying out inspections will be carried out for Smoke Alarm installations houses, switchboards, sub-circuits, electrical reticulation systems and LED lighting in schools
Carrying out safety audits to validate contractors are following their SWMS
Investigating technical issues, writing technical reports and reporting

The successful candidate will:

Hold a current Electrical Workers License, current QLD driver’s license, Blue Card and pass a criminal history check
Must have a thorough understanding of AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules), and the Electrical Safety Act, Regulations and Codes of Practice
Must have completed training in asbestos-related work practices, certified training can include: CPCCDE3014A - Remove Non friable asbestos

It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. They will display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised whilst contributing to the wider team's objectives of ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.
