We are currently looking for a full-time Painter to join our team. You will be responsible for all rehabbing and painting existing structures of buildings for Rojas Constructions clients.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Read blueprints and drawings of the premise for the execution of painting job.
Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.
Prepare surfaces and apply paints, stains, shading stains, and clear finishes.
Apply paint, vinyl, and wallpaper, including special papers and fabrics to walls, furniture, and structures.
Make assessments on paint colour, mix and match pigments using multiple techniques and tools.
Remove previous paint through sandblasting, scraping, sanding, hydro-blasting and steam-cleaning.
Operate and maintain various power and manual tools.
Support other team members to ensure completion of projects on time and according to specifications.
Work on Residential work projects.
Understand and comply with industry safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Compliance with OH&S guidelines;

Work Experience and Skills:

Relevant qualifications;
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience;
Performing preventative maintenance on equipment and power tools;
Demonstrated positive attitude and teamwork abilities;
Able to work efficiently with and without supervision;
Strong eye for detail;
Good communicator, ability to work with other trades;

Salary: AUD 55,000 – 75,000 plus super
