Business Analyst (Retail, Systems Implementation, Process Mapping)

12 month Fixed Term Contract

My client, a specialist change consultancy is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and experienced Business Analyst to lead process mapping activities on a major change project. The successful business analyst should possess large-scale systems implementation experience within the retail industry sector. Exposure to retail back-office in areas such as points of sale, merchandising, supply chain, inventory management, and CX a big bonus.

Role Description:
The Business Analyst will work within a business and systems change team, assisting in the delivery of technology/ business process change to a number of critical work streams across the company. The role requires extensive process mapping on a major business transformation project.

Responsibilities:

Obtaining a comprehensive understanding of business needs and strategies for the distributed systems and platforms.
Liaising closely with stakeholders to provide advice on all aspects of Process and Technology change.
Conducting gap analysis end-to-end on documentation that has been completed
Building strong business relationships based on trust and delivery.
Maintain and foster relationships with all stakeholders, including those throughout the business unit, across the organisation, and external suppliers and customers
Pro-actively assess identify and manage risks.
Leading the definition, design and delivery of specific software solutions through proactive consulting and support to the agile teams.
Contribute to the design and implementation of standards, procedures, and methodologies to maximise the effectiveness of the product delivery lifecycle.
Support application release planning and coordinate the work with other teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Business Systems Analyst with substantial systems implementation experience in the Retail sector.
