Purpose of the Role

The Clinical Nurse is required to deliver direct nursing care at an advanced level with service teams and NGOs to support a 24-hour community based residential rehabilitation facility for mental health consumers who are in recovery but require additional support and life skills to successfully transition to independent living. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for a specific client population while providing support and direction to Enrolled Nurses and other non-registered personnel.

* This position requires the successful applicant to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided before commencement of duty.
* It is a condition of employment for the employee in this role to be, and remain, vaccinated against or non-susceptible to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPDs): Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough) and Hepatitis B.
