Position Title: Electronic Equipment Technician

We are looking for someone to join our team as an Electronic Equipment Technician, Full Time Position to install, maintain and repair all types of our electronic equipment in Banksmedow NSW.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Install electronics equipment and systems on machineries used.
• Repair and adjust electronics equipment as needed.
• Test machines and electronic equipment to diagnose faults using a variety of diagnostic tools including visual inspection.
• Perform preventative maintenance on test equipment.
• Maintain logs. Assist with the Test Failure Measurement Evaluation and Analysis as needed
• Diagnose and repair defective parts to ensure the correct functioning of the machines reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment.
• Advise users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.
• Escalate test failure issues to higher-level technicians and manufacturing.
• Install electronic instruments and control systems for our intelligent products.
• Gathers, interprets and enters failure data information into computerized tracking system and prepares reports.
• Follow established practices and procedures in a specific technical discipline.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot production test equipment.
• Manage stocks of supplies and equipment.
• Ability to work according to Health Safety policy and guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, and
• Relevant Qualification.
• Able to perform analytical tasks with awareness of occupational health and safety regulations.
• Ability to break down often complex technical information into a language more easily digested by the general public.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Analytical & Problem Solving Skills.
• Fast learner to understand and apply new knowledge and techniques.

Salary $ 55K to 65K per year + Super
