Our client is a leading Australian bank with an ever growing global footprint. Services include; retail and corporate banking, wealth management, advisory and institutional banking. As part of a recent strategic growth plan within Financial Markets Technology, a position of Senior Project Manager has become available to essentially manage multiple critical system builds and upgrades aligned to the banks regulatory reporting changes.

Duties & Responsibilities:
-Structure the project team appropriately for success, incorporating required skills from within the team as well as sourcing resources from other partner organisations
-Develop robust project plans and manage the overall delivery of quality project deliverables
-Manage multiple Risk/Regulatory projects simultaneously
-Develop and manage strong senior stakeholder relationships with both the business and technology
-Take full responsibility for project governance, compliance, budget control and resource management

Skills &Experience:
-Extensive experience of technology Project Management (10 years +)
-Strong Financial Markets experience - Cross Product expertise (Derivatives)
-Previous regulatory related project experience
-Strong budget management expertise - $2million +
- Previous experience of project ownership around Governance, Compliance and Data Control
-Comfortable interacting with and managing Senior Stakeholders both from the Business as well as Technology
