Eden Ritchie Recruitment are looking for an experienced Test Analyst to work within a State Government Department, the duration is for 3 months with contract extension options.

This role will be part of a project team facilitating delivery of a priority ICT initiative for this department. The project will support the integration of the systems operating in a secure, national information sharing environment.

The Test Lead will be part of a development team with oversight from the Software Development Group. There is a Project Manager to ensure timely and accurate delivery and reporting in this heavily timeline constrained engagement.

Role requirements:

Understanding and working to product test plans to ensure the delivered solution meets the requirements and deliverables of the customer.
Assisting in the development and completion of test plans.
Liaise regularly with developers, functional analysts and support staff to effectively plan and execute testing activities within agreed time frames.
Identifying testing requirement scenarios.
Reviewing and self-assessing test coverage ensuring traceability, quality assurance and quality completeness for own and others work.
Develop functional and End to End test scenarios, test cases and traceability requirements for operational systems.
Execute functional, integration and End to End test cases and record results.
Report test preparedness and execution results to management and raise, manage and finalise defects as required.
Ensure all testing and release related risks and issues are officially recorded and escalated through line management.
Provide weekly status reports to address all aspects of scope, key milestones and progress.
Participate in team meetings / daily stand-ups as required.

Mandatory:

High level experience of Agile methods.
High level experience in creating Test Plans; presenting Test Results to Change Advisory Boards.
High level experience in using tools such as HP Quality Centre.
Experience in working as a testing resources within an Agile team.
Experience in Functional Testing across various Enterprise Applications.
Understanding of office productivity suites (eg. Office 365, Office 365 ProPlus, Office 2013, Exchange, Active Directory), Windows Server, MS SQL, Networking principles, Data Integrity and system architecture knowledge.
