About the opportunity

The Nursing Unit Manager is responsible for the Mental Health Emergency Care (MHEC) Team based in Orange. This role entails leadership and management of staff to deliver safe and effective quality care via telephone and video conferencing 24/7 to Western and Far Western NSW Local Health Districts.

Mental Health Emergency Care (MHEC) operate from Bloomfield Hospital, Orange. Provision of comprehensive specialist mental health services across the age range experiencing an acute episode of mental illness. The service also provides clinical support and education for MHDA community staff, liaising with essential services to facilitate best outcomes for rural and remote clients in NSW.
