Our client is a global provider of engineered building systems located in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

They are looking for highly motivated individuals looking for a long term opportunity within their company to help manually pick orders of steel components and strap them for delivery. The role is physical, with forklift driving when required. This role involves a strict adherence to safety and acuracy and an active mind when working.

Required Duties:

Manual handling and picking galvanized steel orders from manifest onto forklift.
Container Loading.
Picking orders from slips.
Product Takeaway.
Tying loads of steel for delivery.
Safe counterbalance forklift driving.

To be successful, you must:

Have a forklift license/experience (essential).
Ideally have worked with steel and/or timber.
Be physically fit.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Be willing to perform manual labour rather than driving a forklift all day.
Have the ability to follow instructions and pick slips with 100% accuracy.
Havea a positive attitude to work with a solid work history.
Strictly adhere to OHS Policy and Procedure at all times.
Able to work in a fast paced, loud environment.
Willing to undertake random Drug and Alcohol test if required.

Pay Rate:

Day Shift: $28.38
Afternoon Shift: $32.63
