We are looking for a passionate, hard working Cook to join our kitchen team at Oceans 27 to work on a full time basis.

About the role

Busy northerns suburbs beachside venue
Day to day accountability for the running of your section including set up/pack down, prep, service, cleaning and ordering
Cooking to order – preparing menu items to specification including correct ingredients, cooking methods, seasoning, portion control, plating, presentation and overall quality.
Preparing food in line with dietary requirements as needed.
7 day operation, including breakfast, lunch and dinner service every day
Maintaining food safety standards across your section and the kitchen in general
Full time basis 40 Hours per week

About you

High standards in food preparation
Ability to work within a team and follow instructions
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Proactive, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Completed COVID 19 Hygiene Training
Must have 2 years of relevant work experience
Must have relevant Australian Qualification Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV.
