The High Court of Australia is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced person who has a wide range of information and communication technology (ICT) experience. The person we are seeking will have highly developed ICT project management skills, be able to think laterally and strategically, have business analysis skills, and have successfully implemented ICT projects. The project manager/systems analyst will be an excellent communicator, client focused, and able to contribute to the delivery of outcomes in a small, highly skilled, and highly regarded ICT team.

This position is located in the High Court building, Parkes Place, Canberra. The High Court is the highest court in the Australian judicial system. It was established in 1901 by Section 71 of the Constitution. The functions of the High Court are to interpret and apply the law of Australia, to decide cases of special federal significance including challenges to the constitutional validity of laws and to hear appeals, by special leave, from Federal, State and Territory courts. The seat of the High Court is in Canberra, where it is located in its own building within the Parliamentary Triangle. The High Court also has locations in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, as well as circuiting around Australia as required.

Direct and implement information and technology projects for the Court (including ICT-based sound and vision systems), ensuring projects are designed and implemented methodically and with an appropriate governance framework;
Make significant contributions to the development of ICT and information management plans, policies, procedures, and strategies;
Provide back-up where required for ICT application, infrastructure, and helpdesk services;
Demonstrate working practices consistent with the High Court Code of Conduct and Workplace Health and Safety Arrangements.
Represent the Court at meetings, conferences and seminars.
