Our client is an ambitious fintech startup creating waves in the crypto scene and growing at unprecedented rates. This group is setting a new standard for how cryptocurrency is traded online. To fuel customer demand they continue to grow their technology team to build out product features and meet the insatiable demand for crypto trading. Thanks to this team growth they currently need to fill multiple Mid-Senior level Software Engineer roles.

These roles are permanent, full-time role located at their Brisbane office.

The Role
We’re looking for someone with 1 – 3 years of full-time commercial experience, to take a mid-level role within their development team.

Here’s a sneak peek of your day-to-day:

Fixing bugs
Writing code (Node and Angular but looking at transitioning to React next year) and processing millions of dollars in transactions.
Designing and building new features
Optimizing systems
Helping to foster juniors talent within the team

Experience

2+ years as an engineer producing software within a team
Strong Full Stack Dev experience leaning towards backend (Node.js, AWS)– competency with Angular.js
Experience with React.js is preferred

Desired Experience & Skills

Must have 1-3 years commercial experience in software engineering
Come with a good attitude – no arrogance accepted here!
Focus on quality vs. quality, and learning from your mistakes.

Salary
$70k – $110k + super (commensurate of experience)
