Randstad have a vacancy for a Biosecurity Factory Hand to join a small, friendly Port Augusta team.

Tasks include preparation of diet mix and delivery of insects to Adelaide, cleaning factory rooms, insect cages and equipment used in the rearing of insects.

Applicants MUST:

Have a keen eye for detail as hygiene requirements are very high
Be physically fit and prepared for some lifting (15kg)
Be self motivated and able to work unsupervised once trained
Be able to work well under pressure and to schedules
Be able to follow strict quarantine facility protocols
Be able to fit in and work well with others
Current valid SA drivers licence

Previous experience in these areas would be an advantage.

The position is casual temporary looking at 7.5 hour days. Days and hours will be flexible to suit production requirements and the successful applicant.

On offer is weekly pays with a safe working environment and the potential for increased hours/days in the future based on performance and project workload.

This role is based in Port Augusta, South Australia.

Candidates will be subject to a Randstad Pre-Employment Assessment (physical) and WHS Assessment prior to confirmation of their employment.
